About Me

My name is Imani and I am 17 years old. I was born in Laguna Beach, CA but grew up in Paris, France. I moved to the US when I was going into the 5th grade. I like to think of myself as a positive and self-motivated person. I have recently started to like being given responsibilities and with liking that I believe that a lot more doors will open for my future. My home school is Newport Harbor High School which I am planning on returning to in the near future. My hobbies include working out, hanging out with friends, and doing a lot of shopping. When I get older I would like to have a career in the fashion industry. On the college subject I would like to go to either USC, UCLA, UCSB, or NYU but I am still figuring that out. Before going to a University I am planning on going to a community college for 2 years but I am not quite sure of the one I would like to go to.

Being self-motivated in my opinion is a very important thing. Being able to motivate yourself to achieve the things that you want to conquer without having to rely on something else is a power that is worth preserving. Some people might believe that their lives are over because of previous dilemmas but that is not true at all. If the belief is there and you have the hard work and  motivation to match that belief, it's impossible to fail. I try to live my life in a positive way and if I can do that I can fulfill anything that I set myself out to achieve. Last summer I definitely realized that I need to start doing well and focusing on important things life and for me the thing that I am focusing on right now is my career. I'm a great people person, I love being able to help those who are struggling because I feel like I have the power to understand them and have the ability to guide them towards greater things but there is only so much a person can do and at the end of the day you have to be willing to accept the help and work towards it.
